What this covers

Outdoor Kitchens & Bars

An outdoor kitchen is a real kitchen that happens to sit outside — plumbed, gassed, wired, weatherproofed, and finished to match the architecture of the house. We build them from the slab up: the cabinetry, the counters, the grill, the fridge, the ice maker, the sink, the TV, the speakers, the lighting, the ventilation. Everything specified for humidity, salt air, and the fact that the finish will be judged from six feet away in golden-hour light.

What's included

  • Custom cabinetry in marine-grade stainless, HDPE, or teak
  • Natural stone or porcelain counters — sealed for outdoor use
  • Integrated built-in gas grill, side burner, and pizza oven
  • Under-counter refrigeration, ice makers, kegerators, wine coolers
  • Sink with plumbed hot/cold water and drain-to-sanitary
  • Weatherproof outdoor TVs and speaker integration
  • Task lighting under overhangs + accent lighting along the base
  • Hood ventilation or open-air spec depending on the pergola cover

When to call us

You want a real kitchen outside, not a grill on wheels

A permanent build lets you cook a full meal outside without running back to the indoor kitchen for prep, cold storage, or plates. That's the standard we build to.

You entertain regularly and the indoor kitchen bottlenecks

Moving the cooking outside opens up the indoor space for the guests. Bar seating around the outdoor island is where most of the party ends up anyway.

The last outdoor kitchen didn't survive one summer

The wrong cabinetry rots. The wrong grill rusts. The wrong stone stains. We spec everything for outdoor duty from the start — no swap-outs in year two.

Waterfront property with salt-air exposure

Marine-grade only — 316 stainless fasteners, sealed stone, powder-coated aluminum framing. Otherwise the salt gets in and the kitchen falls apart in five years.

Common questions

How much does a real outdoor kitchen cost?

Range is wide because scope is wide. A modest built-in bar with grill and one fridge starts around $18k–$25k. A full L-shape with island seating, pizza oven, ice maker, sink, and integrated TV runs $45k–$100k+. We give a firm number after a site walk and a scope meeting.

Do I need a cover over it?

Grills can live in the open. Cabinetry, appliances, and electronics benefit from a cover — either a fixed roof, a louvered pergola, or a hard cover integrated into the house architecture. We design the two as one project.

Can you match the interior kitchen's look?

Yes — same or complementary counter material, same cabinetry paint, same hardware family. The outdoor kitchen should feel like an extension of the house, not an afterthought.

What about the gas line?

We coordinate the plumber/gas fitter to bring the line to the kitchen location, whether that's a tee off an existing service or a new run from the meter. Permitted, pressure-tested, inspected.
